FAQ - Booking

Is there a minimum time required on bookings?

  • Typically, the minimum booking time is 1-hour.  However, Saturday evening (after 4:00pm) bookings are usually 2-hours minimum.  The reason for the 2-hour minimum on Saturday is you are effectively pre-empting an existing standing booking.  This minimum may be waived at our discretion.

How far in advance should I book?

  • We recommend booking Ed for your event at least 6 to 8 weeks prior ot your event.  Of course, you can try to book with a shorter lead time, but it is usually hit-and-miss to find an open slot on his calendar.  To improve your chances of finding an open time slot, we suggest trying to schedule your event during a week-day, as the heaviest booking requests are typically Friday through Sunday.

How far do you travel?

Ed travels world-wide for events, so the short answer is 'everywhere'.

  • For local bookings (i.e., the greater Phoenix metropolis), there is no surcharge for travel to Phoenix, Scottsdale, Glendale, Mesa, Tempe.
  • For regional bookings (i.e., within Arizona or the surrounding states), there is a surcharge based on the distance travelled.  Contact us for details.
  • For domestic US bookings (i.e., requires a flight  to the destination), the surcharge is airfare plus travel expenses (i.e, meals, accommodations, etc.)



FAQ - Charities/Non-Profits

Do you do events for charities/non-profit organizations?

  • Yes, Ed supports a limited set of charitable organizations.  Each December, four organizations are chosen for support in the following year.   The four are chosen based on compatible alignment with Ed's convictions - spiritual, moral, and ethical and worthwhile cause.   Ed will donate his personal time to the organizations, but the organization is expected to cover the material cost of all products as well as T&E expenses (if any).  If you are a charity and would like to be considered for the following year selection, please send a note to Ed under "ask a question", specifying details of your charity and what you need.  Charities from around the world (not just local) are encouraged to apply.

FAQ - Deposits/Payments

Do you require a deposit?

  • A deposit of 25% of the booking contract is required within 1 week of confirming a booking.  This may be waived at our discretion (e.g., on last-minute bookings).

What forms of payment do you accept?

  • We accept cash, checks, credit cards, and Paypal.
